Sound Designer/Technical Sound Designer – Game Designer
(upcoming)
Upcoming sequel to the action-adventure audio only game, co-produced by Dowino and France Culture in 2015 and which had been downloaded 1 200 000 times in 189 countries.
Concept:

A blind Legend (ABL) is an action-adventure game in which the player’s only tool is their ears. As it contains no visuals, it is 100% accessible to the visually impaired.
The player follows the many adventures of Edward Blake and his daughter Louise, as they cross the country to save Louise’s mother who has been abducted. As they progress in the story, the player can experience a wide variety of soundscapes, and must learn to fight by parrying when enemies attack, and take advantage of moments of inattention to strike !
My role on the project:
Following the decision to create a sequel to the first game, I was tasked with developing a proof of concept consisting of an introductory scene for the game that we could then show to potential investors. Working alongside a programmer and a narrative designer, I therefore developed a prototype of the scene in Unity, creating, implementing and integrating the various systems and sound assets using FMOD middleware.

I also took part in the design and research surrounding the modernisation of an existing IP, particularly with regard to controller inputs, the revamping of combat mechanics and the addition of new gameplay mechanics (stealth, lockpicking, etc.).
Alongside the development of the prototype, we also put together a funding application, which we submitted to the CNC (National Film Centre) and to the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Both financial contributions were granted for the development of the game!
